How we run a class

  • Ages 9 years to 18 years

Staff checks and training

  • Background checks
  • CPR and first aid

Safety routines

  • Sign-in and leaving

Dancers are signed in at the front desk. Younger dancers are handed only to an adult on the family's pickup list, and teens leave on the terms their family has written down.

  • Warm-up and conditioning

Every class begins with a warm-up, and every level has a conditioning class in the week. Dancers tell a teacher about any pain, before or during class.

  • Watching class

Families wait in the lobby. Watch weeks in November and March open the studio door for a class.

  • Class size

Technique classes hold up to 14 dancers. Rehearsals hold up to 20.
